Paris: French defender Raphael Varane confirmed that he is training hard on his way to be ready to represent France in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held from November 20 to December 18.
In a statement, Varane, who had suffered a leg injury, said he WAs training hard at the French national team headquarters at the Claire Fountain Training Center and he feels better.
Varane, 29, is not expected to play any game with Manchester United until the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as he was substituted in pain during the match in which his team drew with Chelsea on October 22 in the English Premier League.
France play their World Cup matches in Group D, along with Denmark, Australia and Tunisia, and will have their first match against Australia on November 22 at Al Janoub Stadium. (QNA)
