Doha: Ooredoo, Official Middle East and Africa Telecommunications Operator of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, joined the ‘Flag Above Every Home’ initiative launched by the Qatar Football Association (QFA).

Marking the occasion of the Qatar national team’s participation in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Ooredoo turned its shop at the Villaggio Mall into a sea of colour. Ambassadors from the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy were in attendance, alongside representatives of QFA.

Senior officials from Ooredoo were on hand to welcome visitors and shoppers, who received the gift of flags on arrival. A total of 2,022 flags were distributed.

Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Director PR at Ooredoo, said, “The recent huge turnout at our Villaggio Mall shop shows the scale of public support for Qatar and its national team. We’re so proud that our team is taking part in its first World Cup finals and delighted to be helping them to celebrate. Best of luck to all the players and coaching staff in the tournament ahead!

“Many thanks to the Ambassadors from the Supreme Committee and QFA representatives for participating in this event.”
