Marbella: The Qatar national football team defeated Panama 2-1 in a friendly match played in the Spanish city of Marbella on November 5 as part of Qatar’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 training camp.
Qatar will take on Albania on November 9 and will return to Doha after the match.
After returning to Doha, the team will start a closed camp at Aspire to prepare for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Qatar played several friendly matches in the overseas camp and they included victories over Honduras (1-0), Nicaragua (2-1) and Guatemala (2-0).
Qatar will start their World Cup campaign against Ecuador on November 20 in the opening game of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
