Doha: German football team Bayern Munich has become the club with the most players participating in the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Six players from Bayern are playing in the four teams that qualified for the semi-finals (Morocco, France, Croatia and Argentina), exceeding the qualified players from other clubs.
Among Bayern's players, Kingsley Coman, Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano and Lucas Hernandez play in the French national team, regardless of Hernandez's injury.
Bayern's Josip Stanisic plays for the Croatian national team, while Bayern's Noussair Mazraoui plays for the Moroccan national team.
In terms of the 32 World Cup teams, Bayern Munich ranked first in European clubs represented by its players, with 17 players. Barcelona and Manchester City came in second place, with 16 players, while Manchester United came in fifth, with 14 players, followed by Spain's Real Madrid, with 13 players.
In regard to Germany's Borussia Dortmund, Italy's Juventus, France's Paris Saint-Germain and Spain's Atletico Madrid, 11 players of each team play in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
