Doha: The Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, held a reception ceremony for their Majesties, Highnesses, and Excellencies, leaders of brotherly and friendly countries, and heads of delegations participating in the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at Lusail Stadium on Sunday.
The reception was attended by the Personal Representative of the Amir, HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
During the reception, conversations and views were exchanged on a number of topics, especially those related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where Their Majesties, Highnesses and Excellencies expressed their congratulations to HH the Amir on the success of organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, wishing success to Qatar in the upcoming international events.
For his part, HH the Amir welcomed the leaders of brotherly and friendly countries in Qatar, wishing them a pleasant stay.
