National team played its first international match on June 6, 1948, and is participating in the World Cup for the eleventh time in its history, and its best achievements are getting fourth place in the 2002 edition, and in the World Cup Asian Nations participated fourteen times, crowned the title in 1956 and 1960, and appeared in the Confederations Cup once in 2001.
